The Rylie Report - March 21, 2020

It is Saturday now. On Satrday there is no getting lunch from the bus. So sad. Well what is good is that we dont have to do math or reading because its Saturday! I forgot to tell you last time that Mo Willams (an ather) is doing doodles at lunch time! Every time its like a Saturday we rush on screens and eat breakfest at like nine. Well now on the week days we always ask for electronics but know that were out of school my mom always says that were suposed to be at scool and no tv until we finish our work.

Well evntilly after I finish my work I ask for tv she says no she says that I need to go outside I'm like nooooo but I gest its fine. but after I go out side on a week day when i come back in, she finaly says yes. After I'm on that for about an hour or two she says get off its time for dinner. Then after dinner thats when we watch star wars.

But on weekends its sit on electronics untill mom says get off. So thats what i did. I LOVE WEEKENS but its boring if you dont have anything to do. Like today I got off after brecfest cause mom said she never said we coud get back on. O well theres always TOMMOROW I hope this virus gets better!

Paige's Perspective - March 21, 2020

Dogs do not understand self quarantining. Seriously, when ever we go out on a walk we make sure that we are five feet apart from other people at all times, but Izzy on the other hand, is going around making some new friends! Every day we go on a walk to let our energy out and we take Izzy with us but she is tugging on the leash trying to go sniff other dogs butts!

Mom has moved dads work space downstairs so we don't have to be as quiet as mice anymore. But I'm pretty sure me and Rylie are not allowed to run around the house because it will make dad think the roof is caving in.  Home school is going to start next week so we are going to use the office for that. Speaking of school, our principal is still planing to do spirit week so we have to send pictures of us in the clothes assigned for that day! He is also saying that he wants 500 pictures of kids reading! 

The Rylie Report - March 20, 2020

I know my parents always talk about me (Rylie) on here, but now, I'm talking about somthing. So there is a coronavirus  well what this is is basicly a virus thats spreading all over the world! Our schools are getting closed! Well not just ours lots of schools!If you wanna now what I'm doing at home I'm watching star wars playing outside doing math doing reading playing on electronics or going on walks with my mom me my sister and my dog Izzy.

For lunch evry day now were getting it from a bus that comes to give lunch. You need to go to a neibor hood. Also you dont need to go to the bus you could go home or our school.Yes you can go to our school for lunch but it only gives you lunch nothing else.

Well thats whats going on! I hope this gets better soon!

Paige's Perspective - March 19, 2020

Schools out! No, not for summer break or winter, nope not spring break, it's because of the Corona virus. 

Once schools let out my mom went on a shopping spree! Now we have food to last a life time.  Everyone went on the same shopping spree as my mom, so now lots of stores and business are closed, like school. One thing that has helped me get through all of this is the lunch time doodle with Mo Williams at 1:00. My dad is working from home now, so he always needs everyone to be silent and if we don't, he says "shh," like it's a library! My mom is doing a little bit of home school so we have to do 30 minutes of math and reading. Me, mom, Rylie and Izzy go on walks every day to get exercise. Then we  go home and watch Star Wars, because Rylie is obsessed with it. After that, we go to bed and do it all again the next day!  

Renovation update - Getting Close!

We are nearing the end of the renovation!

Last week lots happened:
-light fixtures were installed
-flooring was installed
-toilets, sinks, faucets, etc were installed
-painting is...well, ongoing
-new stone was added to the fireplace
-appliances were delivered
-decking was added to the front porch

Move in is scheduled for next weekend.

Renovation update #3

Things are progressing along nicely (well, we were out of town for the last 2 progress meetings, so we may just be blissfully oblivious to all the things going wrong right now). Here are some photos of the new addition:

Inside, they have framed all the new rooms, but it's hard to tell from the photos what is what, so I'll post the inside when there is a little more to see.
